Hey friends!

Welcome back to day 15 of Blogmas! Today I'm sharing with you guys some fun date ideas that you can do with your partner or even your friends during this festive season! Some of these have been the most fun and do not cost too much at all! So read on to find out what your upcoming evening activities will be ;p

1. Decorate Stockings

Dan Le Febvre
Aidan and I had this idea one day to make our own stockings just because the ones with monograms from places like Not On The Highstreet costs about a tenner each and I'd very much rather hang a tenner note on the wall than through a stocking you know. I say this as I light a ten pound candle... dammit. Anyway, we basically just went to poundland and got stockings, got home and just emptied our sharpie and christmas decoration collection and just went to town! We are not the best artists but we sure did have so much fun! X

2. Hot Chocolate & Movie Night

What better way to enjoy a cold winter night than with a hot cup of delicious hot chocolate while watching a Christmas Film? You can bring this to the next level by setting out a hot chocolate station with different toppings from candy canes, cinnamon sticks, chocolate power, marshmallows, whipped cream and even sprinkles!

Make it a night of DIY hot chocolate and a film for an affordable and relaxing evening!

3. Decorate a gingerbread house

I have never eaten a gingerbread house nor decorated one so far, so this is something I am really looking forward to doing this an evening soon! You can either decorate one with your partner/friends or have a friendly competition to see whose gingerbread house is the best!

Feel free to set out different treats including smarties and edible glitter to bring your gingerbread houses to the next level! You can either choose to bake the gingerbread houses items yourself or pop into your local shops to pick them up! Asda does one for 3.50 if you are interested!

4. Ice Skating

This is another thing that I would love to do but the rink is always so packed when I'm around! Nevertheless, going on an ice skating date is not only so romantic but so festive especially in the winter time too! This is also an opportunity for you to take the cutest pics and spend time together skating (or falling over) all around!

The rink closest to me is at the Ice Village in the Manchester Christmas Markets and here are the opening times and prices:

Ice Skating - Adult £11.00 per ticket
Ice Skating - Child (4 to 16 years) £9.00 per ticket
Ice Skating - Famliy (2 + 2 or 1 +3) £35.00 per ticket

9 Nov 2018 - 5 Jan 2019
Monday - Sunday 11:00 - 21:00
* Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day

Check out the Visit Manchester website for more information!

5. Christmas Lights

This is no stranger to you or me but going around to look at the Christmas Lights around the neighbourhood has got to be one of my favourite things! Unfortunately neither Aidan nor I can drive yet, but we are really looking forward to driving around neighbourhoods that are REALLY into their Christmas Lights decoration!

In Alnwick, there is always this one house that just goes OTT on their Christmas Lights and it is such a sight to behold!

I hope that you've enjoyed this little post I put together to give you some ideas for some festive dates! Don't forget to check out today's make up video featuring:
