Brighton 2018

Hey friends!

I hope that you've enjoyed the Paris post and I'm so excited to be sharing this post with you because we've visited Brighton for a short trip before popping back to Manchester.

There is something really fun about being by the beach (even though it's not sandy) and the good vibes that comes with it. It definitely helped that the weather was gorgeous and everyone was just out and about!

📍Dum Dum Donutterie Brighton - 10 Brighton Square, Brighton BN1 1HD

First order of business was to get ourselves a yummy box of donuts and cronuts! My favourite was the Zebra cronut - can't beat layers of delicious chocolatey cookie flavour. Although the galaxy design donut was really pretty too. Just have tissues on standby when you're digging into these babies because they are filled with either jam or cream and it was falling all over the table and us! But it was so worth it!

📍The Lanes - 3 Meeting House Ln, Brighton BN1 1HB

Going around the lanes is such a fun thing to do when it's quiet and nice but since the sun was out, everyone was out too! Which mades the lanes horribly packed and it was such a struggle to move around. Highly recommend that you go early in the morning just as the shops open to avoid the crowd!

P/S: he requested this pose and to be the mermaid.

📍Brighton Pier - Madeira Dr, Brighton BN2 1TW

There is just something that brings out the child in us on the Brighton Pier isn't there? The sounds from the arcade machine, smell of 'carnival food' and all that fun stuff! What did not bring the child out in me was the rides at the end of the pier which my friends actually got on! Just watching it swing around gives me so much anxiety I had to find a spot to sit down because I thought I was going to throw up but hey they seem to have had a lot of fun so good for them!

If you're into the rides, don't forget to get your wristbands/ride tickets before joining the queue for the rides so you don't waste your time getting out and in again!

Obligatory shot with the beach and pier in the background!

📍Hove Beach Huts - Hove Lawns, Kingsway, Hove BN3 2PE

The colourful beach huts are a must visit when you're in Brighton! Unfortunately they are a while away from the Brighton Pier so we decided to hop on their rental bicycles and cycled 30 minutes towards Hove to look at the huts and enjoy a couple of minutes of sea breeze before it got too cold and we basically hopped onto an Uber and got dinner!

📍Bird & Blend Tea Co. - 41 Gardner St, Brighton BN1 1UN

This picture was taken outside the tea shop while the rest of us girls were getting our teas and them two were just chatting on the cutest beach chairs. If you're a big fan of tea, be sure to give this shop a visit for the most interesting flavours like Mojitea and more! They also have some great samples in store so go crazy!

📍 Photomatic - 22 Gardner St, Brighton BN1 1UP

If you're into photobooths, this is definitely the place to go. Just opposite of the tea shop is this photobooth store that you pay four pounds per shot or two pounds per duplicate! If I'm not wrong, you get one half price for every three shots you get, I know it all sounds a bit confusing but I'm sure the shop assistant will explain it way better than me! You'll definitely have a ton of fun in this with your friends and or partner because we sure did and almost ran late for our train!

Brighton is truly such a fun place to visit in the summer but if you love the beach and all the little things you can do, be sure to pop by!
