Hey friends!

Following the previous London 2018 post, we left London and made our way to Paris which we spent three gorgeous days there and of course, with more days brings more pictures so enjoy!

📍18-32 Rue Montorgueil, 75001 Paris, France

We stayed at Citadines Les Halles (again) just because of it's central location and the great food that is just a stone throw away! These pictures are basically why I love Paris - the beautiful buildings with a little Juliet balcony in front of full length windows! The Parisian streets are always filled with so much character and it just looks stunning at every corner!

📍34 Quai de la Mégisserie 75001 Paris

Walking along the river (The Seine) is always such a pleasant experience and such a treat for the eyes!

📍Pont des Arts 75001 Paris
& along The Seine are some of the prettiest bridges leading you to more gorgeous buildings!
Fun fact: this was the previous love lock bridge before they moved the locks over to another place!

📍Louvre Museum - Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris, France

An iconic landmark even without considering that the great Mona Lisa painting is underneath! Unfortunately we did not make it into the museum because the line was wayyyy too long and online slots were all sold out on the days we were available for it. So top tip: please pre-book your tickets online to skip the crazy long lines!

📍Eric Kayser Bakery - 14 Rue Monge, 75005 Paris, France
Baguettes in Paris is a must! Almost any bakery serves baguettes with the freshest ingredients that need no fancy sauces or dip. It's just simple goodness! We also decided that desserts at 9am in the morning was the best idea and we did have a very sugar-fuelled day!

📍Galeries La Fayette - 44 Rue de Châteaudun, 75009 Paris, France

If you're into your designer goods, this is the place to go! Filled with seven stories of luxury goods, you're probably more than likely to find something nice to bring home with you. Just a little note - arrive when it opens just because it will be swarmed with tourists (we saw them barge into the door the moment the staff open it ever so slightly) and stores have long lines outside. I think stores like Gucci allows 3 to 5 shoppers in at once so the waiting time does get a little longer. Don't forget to do your tax refund if you're travelling just to make your process at the airport that little bit smoother!

Apart from the luxury goods, you can find this hidden gem on the highest floor where you'll be treated to the most breathtaking view of Paris - for free. Since you're going to be there early, head up for your view and pictures because not many people realise this until later in the day when they are looking for some food since snacks and cafes are mostly at the higher levels!

📍Sainte-Chapelle - 8 Boulevard du Palais, 75001 Paris, France

Hands down one of my favourite places in the world. I have a weak spot for stained glass architectures and this place just boasts the most meticulously created designs. We deffo waited for awhile to get pictures without tourists hovering in the background and not many people know this but this is actually located on top of the church and you might not know since the steps are pretty hidden in the corners! So make sure you're checking it out when you're there!

XOXO, gossip girl?

📍Eiffel Tower - Champ de Mars, 5 Avenue Anatole France, 75007 Paris, France

Taken just under the Eiffel Tower which always is so much bigger than what I remembered. And every time I look at it, it just makes it feel like the very first time! There is just some charm about the Eiffel isn't there?

📍Trocadéro Gardens - Place du Trocadéro et du 11 Novembre, 75016 Paris, France

This is probably the best place to get a picture with the Eiffel Tower in the background! We took some time to find this spot since it was again, swarmed with tourists! But stick around until your ideal spot becomes free and it'll be worth it! Also the garden looked amazing, we would 100% bring lunch boxes if we knew how nice it would be to have lunch in the garden area.

📍Montmartre - 1 Parvis du Sacré-Cœur, 75018 Paris, France

My other favourite place in Paris! Filled with good vibes and artists with overflowing talent, Mont Martre is probably on the top of my list on places to visit in Paris! It's nothing like what you see in the city centre, instead you'll be treated to live drawing/painting and music too! Don't forget to grab yourself a crepe because what's a trip to Paris without a pipping hot crepe?

📍Champs-Élysées - 114-116 Av. des Champs-Élysées 75008 Paris

This is on another shopping district just a couple of minutes away from the Arc de Triomphe. On this street you can find big brands like Cartier, Longchamp, Lauduree and high street brands like H&M and Nike! I would highly recommend you take out a couple of hours because it is a long stretch of shops and you'll want to take some time to check them all out!

1) Have a credit/debit card on hand because some metro stations only allow card transactions to get your train tickets!
2) Always have your belongings close to you because we saw this guy running away with a woman's purse
3) Wear comfortable shoes because you're going to do a lot of walking since the best gems in Paris are best seen on long walks!
4) Have patience - Paris is on the bucket-list for so many people so it's expected to be crowded so if you're wanting a nice picture or simply to get your coffee, hang around for a bit and I assure you it'll be worth it!
