Hey friends!

I hope that you've been well! As usual, I've been occupied with assignments and what not but it was my postgraduate prom the other night and I actually put in time to beat my face and dress up, all that fun stuff. Thankfully the day was beautiful and the pictures turned out gorgeous and I thought it'd be great to not only share it with you but just to remember this day because it was a good one!

This is my outfit! The dress is from ASOS and I managed to get it on sale so that's amazing because I can't see myself wearing this anywhere else other than some "grand" event! Shoes are from Primark which are surprisingly SO comfortable because I managed to walk around for six hours straight on streets, stairs, running around playing prosecco pong and all that fun stuff. Weirdly, Primark does it comfier than places like New Look which was pretty surprising for me! My crossbody is from Michael Kors and accessories are from T&C, Accessorize and what not!

Went to meet up with my friends for some drinks and managed to get some cute pics nearby

Our prom was at Dukes 92 which was gorgeous in the Spring/Summer evening sun and of course, we had to take advantage of the light and went for more pics!

I absolutely love the pink trees in the background!

With my asian counterpart and I love these pictures so much!

The view from our event room was stunning!

We had some light bites and basically played prosecco pong so much and I got trashed but it was all very very very good fun! I feel very blessed and lucky to be able to know some of the best people in my life that has tide me through the toughest days possible and just been there.

One of the things I've learned in my postgrad journey so far is that that it is very important to surround yourself with people that share the same motivations and people who genuinely want to see you succeed.

Masters is not an easy journey, I am not going to lie. It is a lot of hard work and most of the stress comes from within because you're in a phase where your biggest challenge is yourself and your personal growth. And to me, to overcome the challenge you need people who see you for who you are and believe that they can get you to where you want to be and I have been very grateful and lucky to meet tutors and friends who have provided me with a lending hand every time I need one.

If any of my masters friends/tutors are reading this, please know that you've been such a blessing and will continue to be one in my life. We are on the last lap now, lets power through, give each other all the love and support we need and graduate with nothing but proud and happy smiles!
